New years eve Day

as the year comes to a close this blog continues to progress. as if it were finally emerging from the womb. a baby covered in gunk, waiting for it's mother to lick it clean. breathing it's first true breaths...

I hope that thoroughly moved you. Now back to real life.
Interesting year, ups, downs, side to sides. Even diagonals and perspectives...

As for art projects
I’m being lazy re-uploading MHC. But I my mini comic “The Amkiram”
And my running gag a day web comic “This comic kicks ass” backs up on Hyper-comix.com

I’ve also been working on a movie.
It’s called “Holiday of the living dead”


The basic plot is: random things happening leading up to the end of the year 2006 and possibly the end of days D:! (psst it has zombies!)
It’s just a bunch of really shorts stuck together to make a funny movie. It’ll probably be 20 minuets long or less. And it will be on youtube sometime in the first week of 2007.

I’ve got an action sequence to film today and I’ll be pulling out all the tricks I can to make it look really wicked.

Other then that I’ve got a CSI spoof and a little x-files short, a dance sceen and zombies giving guifts! Hopefully this turns out pretty freaking wicked.

So aside from that I’ve got a few new thing son my DA account. Check those out if you have the time.

But that’s all for now I might post something interesting before the New Year. But we’ll see about that.

2:00 AM. on the 24th of december

So I’m not going to go rambling on in this post. Christmas is tomorrow and there are presents under the tree. I’ve got my gifts to give and cookies to eat. This makes many reasons to be happy.

Also I finished the contest submission i have been working on.

Holiday cookies not of the Internet kind

Well I’ve been making cookies for the past two days. My shoulder hurts thanks to reaching around a table for cups of icing and cookie cutters. Feel my pain, feel my pain!

I guess the professional feel of this bog never developed... oh well!

Project balance has more plots figured out. I’m trying to fit one of the characters from way back in version 1 back into the story I’m finding it difficult, but necessary. So that'll go as it goes.

It looks like I’m missing most of chapter 3 of my web comic "Mr Happys Corner" on my computer so I’ll be rescanning the pages into the computer. I think allot of them had digital gray scale on them. But I wont be re-doing that.

To top this entry off, my brother wants to collaboration with me on a new web comic. My brother and me have a past full of collabs that were started. Also our past is full of collabs that ended in misery... all of them actually. So we'll see how this goes.

Basic idea is that it's the crew of a starship going on misadventures through space. All the while spoofing all the sci-fi shows we can think of.
It’ll be mixed media, 3D render and pencil drawings. so this will be really crazy looking if it works out. More on that as it goes.

So today I finished the second Secret Santa as i show you both of them below this sentence.




















So they aren’t my BEST work, but i quite enjoy what i got out of them, lately I’ve been pretty dry art wise and i think this might get my juices flowing again.
Beside that, I’ve got a bunch of pages of MHC back up, i think I’m going to just post them all and then just edit the words whenever i feel like it.

Liked the movie deep impact? Then don't watch Earth Storm, decent movie if you want to rewatch every single dooms day movie without all the thinking involved. The writer(s) did close to no research for this movie. But the graphics are nice.Also remember, an explosives expert can't do anything more then a physicist can to save the moon from splitting in half and sometimes the physicist can do more.

Room 10 is in my closet!

So I'm going to go on a rant about a mini series I recently watched, its in three parts. I missed the first part, which is bad cause the first part often lays down the characters but I figured the rest out easily.
It’s called The Lost Room amazing amazing series, which is based around these Objects that came from Room 10 of the Sunshine Motel.
Years ago "the event" happened, and room 10 disappeared off the face of the earth. But objects from the room began to appear back in the real world and each of them was able to affect reality in some way. Groups formed once people started to find out about these objects and people began to go crazy over the hunt for them. The main character of the mini series finds The Key, which is a highly sought after object since it allows you to enter room 10 from any door with a keyhole.
The mini series was amazing and everyone needs to watch it.

Anyway, this leads me to a recent dilemma. I want to do something of a fan comic based around the universe of The Lost Room, but I’m already going on a fan comic for the online game I play "Gunz" and I don't really want to start another project, I’m thinking if anything I’ll drop G:tP since it is just a video game and I can't live without doing something TLR.

As for my running web comic Mr. Happys Corner I’ve started re-lettering the early pages. God it's horrid to look back at that art, blegh, some day i might redo those pages but I doubt it.

fan comics on the web

Well here's a recent project.
Gunz: The Plague, It’s based off the free online game Gunz: the duel. my brother and me play it fairly frequently. So I figured I’d make a fan comic out of it.
The whole idea is based off a catastrophe that happened in... Late 2005 or early 2006 I’m not sure. But anyways a lot of people lost their characters, and thus it was dubbed the plague, This has allot to do with the comic though I don't want to say to much yet in case it's a spoiler.

Anyways why am I talking about this? I’m running a preview on my Deviant art acc. check it out http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/44037613/ that's pages 1 and 2 right there. I’ll have more pages up as i get the time to draw them.

In other news, my main web comic has been shut down for the past little while. My host site had a hacker put a phisher on the site and the authorities ended up deleting the files (I don't know details), but I’ve got backups so no worries. I’m thinking I’ll edit the original pages and make them all spiffy with computer words rather then inked words cause the inked words tended to be a bit unreadable.
Plus I’ll be able to add the missing page that I’ve been avoiding the trouble of uploading lol. So this is a good thing, all good things around.
